Contact usCall +91 96646 97515RK Engineering & Services was founded by Ms. Rekha Rakesh Khairnar, a specialist in plate type heat exchanger design, spares and service.
Before starting the company, Rekha worked with three of the best-known names in the industry and learned the equipment from the inside: how it is designed, how it is built, and how it fails in the field.
Today we handle new projects, retrofit orders and after-sales service. Spares come from genuine sources and are assembled in our own workshop, so what reaches you has been handled by people who know the unit.
Send us the make, model and application of your unit.
We identify what needs service, spares or a retrofit.
Parts are sourced and assembled in our Harni workshop.
We deliver and support you after the job, anywhere in India.

Plates welded into cassettes so the aggressive fluid never touches a gasket. Used on ammonia refrigeration and chemical duties.
Wider channels with few contact points, so particles pass through. Used in pulp and paper, ethanol and process heat recovery.
Two plates per cassette with a leak path between them, for hazardous pairs of fluids where cross-contamination is unacceptable.
Plates permanently brazed into a sealed pack. Common in HVAC, heating and refrigeration, but the pack cannot be opened.
Welded seams replace gaskets for demanding chemical and process duties. Cleaned by chemical flushing, not by opening.

Beyond plate units, we handle shell and tube exchangers in all common configurations, including bundle and radiator type.
Tubes are fixed into tubesheets welded to the shell. Compact and cost-effective for clean shell-side fluids. The bundle stays in the shell.
Tubes are bent into a U and held at one tubesheet, so they expand freely. The bundle can be pulled out for cleaning the outside of the tubes.
One tubesheet floats inside the shell. Copes with large temperature differences, and the whole bundle can be removed to clean both sides.
The tube bundle is the heart of the exchanger. Replacement and retrofit bundles can restore performance without replacing the entire shell.
Finned tubes carry the hot or cold fluid while air flows across them, as in air heaters, air coolers and radiator type units.
A pipe inside a pipe, joined by a U-bend. Suits high pressure and small duties, and sections are easy to add as the duty grows.
We buy from genuine sources and assemble in our own workshop. Tell us the make and model and we will quote the parts you need.

Contact usCall +91 96646 97515The make and model, the serial number from the nameplate, the number of plates, plate and gasket material if known, the fluids and operating temperatures, and a few photos of the unit. Even partial details are enough to start.
On the metal nameplate fixed to the frame plate of the exchanger. Send us a clear photo of it and we can usually identify the unit.
Common signs are falling heat transfer performance, a rising pressure drop, leaks from the gasket edges or between plates, and mixing of the two fluids. Any of these means it is time for inspection.
Yes. We service any plate heat exchanger application, including ammonia, nitrogen and sulphuric acid. Please tell us the fluids so we can select the right plate and gasket materials.
Yes. We buy spares from genuine sources and assemble them in our own workshop.
On gasketed units, adding plates adds heat transfer surface, within the limits of the frame. Brazed and fully welded units cannot be opened, so they cannot be extended. Send us the details and we will assess.
Gasketed units use gaskets and can be opened, cleaned and extended. Semi-welded units weld plate pairs so the aggressive fluid never touches a gasket. Brazed units are sealed and compact but cannot be opened. See the Products page for more.
